How much does house cleaning cost in Calgary?
A plain answer, with real prices, and what actually moves the number.
A one-time house clean in Calgary usually lands somewhere between about $130 and $350, depending on the size of the home and the type of clean. At Corinthia, a standard clean starts at $129, a deep clean at $239, and a move-in or move-out clean at $329. GST is included in the price you are quoted. What follows is what sits behind those numbers, so you can work out roughly what your home will cost before you ask anyone for a quote.
The two ways cleaning is usually priced
Most cleaners in Calgary price one of two ways: by the hour, or by the visit. Hourly pricing sounds simple, but it hides the total. You do not know what you will pay until the job is finished, and a slow crew costs you more for the same result. Flat pricing per visit tells you the number before anyone arrives.
We use flat rates for that reason. You see the price, you approve it, and it does not change on the day without your say-so. The only time a price moves is if the home turns out to be much larger or in much rougher shape than described, and even then we tell you before we start, not after.
Our prices, stated plainly
Standard
$129 from
The every-two-weeks reset for a home that is already maintained.
Deep
$239 from
Everything in a standard clean, plus the detail a standard visit does not reach.
Move in / out
$329 from
A full reset of an empty home, the kind a landlord signs off on.
Post-construction
Custom
Drywall dust and renovation residue, quoted to the actual job.
Those are starting prices for a typical home in each category. A one-bedroom condo sits at the low end. A four-bedroom house with three bathrooms sits higher, because bathrooms and bedrooms are what take the time.
What moves the price up or down
Four things decide where your home falls in the range.
- Size. Bedrooms and bathrooms are the biggest factor. Bathrooms especially, since they take the most time per room.
- Type of clean. A deep clean covers more ground than a standard, so it costs more. A move-out resets an entire empty home, which is more again.
- Frequency. Recurring cleans cost less per visit than one-off cleans, because the home never gets far from clean.
- Condition. A home that has not had a proper clean in months takes longer the first time. That first visit is often a deep clean, with standard cleans after.
Recurring saves real money
If you book on a schedule, the price per visit drops: 20 percent off weekly, 15 percent off bi-weekly, and 10 percent off monthly. The bi-weekly rate is where most homes settle.
Here is the math on a standard clean. At $129 a visit, bi-weekly with the 15 percent discount works out to about $110 a visit. Over a year, that is roughly $500 less than paying full price each time, for a home that never drifts far enough to need an expensive reset. The discount is not a gimmick. It reflects that a maintained home is genuinely faster to clean.
What the price includes
The quoted price covers the team’s time, all supplies, and all equipment. We bring everything. You do not stock a cupboard for us, and there is no separate line for products or a vacuum. It also covers the room-by-room checklist we follow on every visit, so the same things get done whether you are watching or not.
GST at five percent is part of the number you are quoted and appears on every invoice. There is no booking fee and no charge for a quote.
How to get your actual number
The fastest way is the quote form on our Residential page. Tell us the bedrooms, bathrooms, the type of clean, and how often you want it. We confirm the price and the available times within one business day. If you would rather talk it through, the number and email are on the Contact page.
A clean home should cost you a clear number, not a guess. That is the whole point of flat-rate pricing.
Common questions
Is GST included in the price?
Yes. GST at five percent is part of the price you are quoted and is shown on every invoice. The number you approve is the number you pay.
Do I pay before or after the clean?
After. We collect payment once the service is complete, and we send the invoice the same day.
Do you charge extra for cleaning supplies?
No. The team brings everything needed. Supplies and equipment are part of the quoted price.
Is a deep clean worth the extra over a standard clean?
For a first visit or after a long gap, usually yes. A deep clean reaches inside appliances, baseboards, and detail a standard visit does not. After that, standard cleans keep it maintained.
